I joined my bros and sis’ from Visayas and Mindanao last Thursday (April 12, 2018) for the Bi-Union Youth Congress of the SDA church and I was given the task to give an inspirational message. I chose to share my personal spiritual journey with the youth on how letting God lead the way for me made me the person I am today – from not knowing what to be growing up, from getting kicked out in my first year of high school, to meeting the love of my life at 15, to passing the nursing board exam without reviewing, but to later on flunking the bar exam not once but twice and eventually to becoming one of the youngest congressmen of our country having been elected to such post at the age of 27.
In summary, I just want to emphasize that no matter how many times you may stumble in this journey that we call life, always get back up and if you trust in Him, keep the faith, eventually He will unfold His master plan for you which I’m sure is far better than what you would expect or planned for.
Hope that I was able to be of service to everyone who gave me their time and listened to me talk. Salamat kaayo sa pag imbita and sa time na inyong gihatag nako. Godspeed! #FollowHISLead#FollowTheLeader
