“For nothing is impossible with God.” Luke 1:37 (NLT)

After spending more than twenty-four years in Canaan, the Lord appeared again to Abram and said. “I am the almighty God, walk before Me, and be thou perfect. Behold my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations” (PP p.126).

By this time God changed Abram’s name to Abraham, which means, “father of a great multitude” (PP p.126), and to show a clear cut separation from pagan roots Sarai was changed to Sarah-“princess”, for she would be the mother of nations.

One sunny day, Abraham saw three strangers on their way to Sodom. Abraham invited the strangers to rest for a while as Sarah prepared food as a gesture of hospitality. Abraham was Innocent that the visitors were the Son of God with His two angels.

After eating, the Lord asked, “Where is Sarah?”

“She’s at the tent entrance”, Abraham answered.

Then the Lord said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son”.

Sarah laughed upon hearing the news because she was a barren senior citizen at the age of ninety (PP p.136).  You can just imagine a super Lola would bear a child with a 100-year old husband.

Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, is anything too hard for the Lord,” (Gen. 18:10-13).

Then it came to pass and Sarah gave birth to a son and she named her son Isaac which means “laughter” (PP p.136) to be the heir as promised to Abraham, to make his offspring into a great nation.

Have faith in God, nothing is impossible with Him.
